## TeleGate for ABC Callers

**TeleGate** is ABC's custom-built solution to allow callers to **gate their own private Telegram chats** behind a monthly ETH subscription. In this way, callers can create a more engaging environment for their subscribers, giving subscribers the chance to ask questions and engage in conversation, while the caller receives monthly subscription fees for hosting the group. It is important to note that callers can manually add members to the group who will NOT be subjected to the subscription gating, allowing them to add in close friends, mods, etc., who can stay in for free. For paid subscribers, the bot will remove them from the group automatically if their subscription expires. 

## TeleGate For Any Private Group

While originally created specifically for ABC callers to set up their own gated tg groups, TeleGate is offered a standalone service powered by ABC that allows anyone to create a subscription-gated telegram group for any reason. TeleGate gated group owners do not have to make calls through ABC to run a group.

## How to Set Up TeleGate

**To set up a TeleGate Gated Group:**

* Add @ABCSubscriptionsBot to a group that you own or create a new group to add it to. This group will become your TeleGate group. If the bot is added to a group with existing members it will not remove those members or any members that are added by admins.
* To remove a TeleGate group, use the command "*/groupunlink*" with @ABCSubscriptionsBot and it will remove the TeleGate functionality from the group. You will be able to add @ABCSubsciptionsBot to another group to create your new TeleGate group. 

## How to Join a TeleGate Group

When purchasing a subscription to a caller, users will recieve an invite link to the caller's TeleGate group if they have one available. If the user does not use this link or the caller creates a TeleGate group after they subscribe, they can use the command "/group @username" to generate an invite link or click their **"TeleGate**" link on the caller's @ABCAlphaBot call messages.
